This picture was taken while walking on the beaches of what is called the Dolphin Coast – in Durban, South Africa. You are looking out to the Indian Ocean.

Taken at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I've always liked the look of the pink flamingos – especially when they sleep standing on one leg.

Encountered this amazing sunset while heading back to our lodge after spending the day in the Tsitsikamma area in South Africa. I loved the pink color of the sunset – this pictures has not been adjusted in any way.

After spending the day wandering around Assiniboine Park and the Zoo in Winnipeg, Manitoba, I ended up at the Duck Pond watching the babies. This little guy was enthusiastic and was charging all around the pond.

I had come across the quote used with this picture, and needed to find a picture of a kite. My nephew (and brother-in-law in the background) was a great sport in helping me get this shot.

I stopped on the side of Highway 6 just outside of Warren, Manitoba to take this shot. This field and the color seemed to go on forever.

This is the Hubbard Glacier in Alaska. What an awesome site! The sound of the ice chunks falling was just like hearing thunder. The blue color of the glacier was spectacular.

This was taken at Fort San Cristobal in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I actually climbed up and on the wall to get this angle. Patience was definitely a virtue as I waited for a space of time where there were no other tourists walking through.

This was taken just outside of Johannesburg, on the first day of travel on my first trip to South Africa in 2006. Couldn’t wait to see what was around the bend waiting for us as we started our journey.
